The first tracks opening reminds me of something, which as of yet I've not worked out what...Dead Radio is going to be a belter :)

Would be lovely to have another preview party, I'll attend no matter if my life is in tatters with my dissertation!! Wine makes everything amazing!

So when can I get my filthy hands on this new album then?! :P Also, TOUR, when can I get my dancing shoes on again?!

    Re: New tracks

I also really enjoyed the three tracks that I heard. It is amazing that Jon never puts out a bad song. Big careers are made out of a handful of good songs yet I think any song Jon has ever recorded could stand up against the best of almost anyone else. I know the one new song is Dead Radio and I love how he has recored it. I wonder if this is the version that was recorded for Psycho Jukebox or a new one? Also, what are the titles of the other two songs? Jon made a reference to "Bright Night Flowers" on Twitter and I wonder if that is the title of one of the songs? Anyway, I can't wait to hear more! If the three songs previewed here set the tone for the rest of the album I am going to love it. Going on the little I have heard, the new record is going to be big on melody with a very retro sound and lots of real instruments. Add some awesome guitar solos and it will really get my attention!

Was such a nice surprise to come home yesterday and find these waiting for me - made my day! The first track was definitely my favourite, and it was great to hear Dead Radio again in all it's glory :) Thankyou Jon and the team!

Just came to me, the second track intro sounds a lot like Simon and Garfunkel harmony on "The only living boy in new york", lovely song.

What I wanna know is why there is always a woman crying in Jon's songs. I'm starting to get a bit concerned...

It's Jon's way of mocking me....

I'm not going to be content until he samples actual women crying into some kind of Diplo-like club beat. I miss him already.

    Re: New tracks

We've heard nothing at Fratelli Central about release dates yet, I think Jon's quite happy working away for the minute on getting it all sounding the way he wants it to! I've had that sampler on repeat for days, I get annoyed when I don't get to hear the rest of the songs.
